From the very first session, Brent analyzed my situation and designed a program that motivated me. Brent makes exercise fun and it wasn't long before I started really seeing some progress in my strength and balance. Brent's concern, programs and motivation have really improved my overall health, flexibility, balance and strength. Working with Brent was one of the best decisions that I have made!
I learned about Brent through a friend. I have a LOT of back problems as well…kyphosis, lordosis, and scoliosis as well as a stress fracture on my lumbar spine.
Brent worked very hard to focus our workouts to help reshape my back and take away the pain. And he did EXACTLY that! I can’t even begin to say how happy I am and we have only been training together for a little over 2 months. My posture is so much better and my shoulders are not rounded forward as they were in the past. My pain is TOTALLY gone and I feel so much stronger. Brent has taught me volumes of information and he has such a passion for life and his clients. I admire his strong work ethic and personal drive and would recommend him to anyone.
My personal fitness goals started long before Brent, but it wasn't until I started training with him that these same goals were achieved by realizing the importance of a healthy mind and body. When I decided to begin working out, it was not with the intention of losing weight. I have a diseased spine involving four damaged vertebrae. My doctor suggested I begin working with a personal trainer who could direct me and possibly ease some of my back and leg pain. Other than rehabilitation, when Brent and I began speaking, I really had no other goals in mind. I am sure that he saw that as well, so he walked me through some benefits of healthy nutrition and exercise.
Brent actually took an hour and a half just listening to my way of eating and all my health issues and lack of physical activity. Brent told me that if I was willing to put in that effort and time, then he would be dedicated to helping me achieve a healthier way of life. I met with Brent twice a week and sometimes more. This went on from June 1st until November and I'm still at it. Yes, this is me a WHOPPING 80 lbs later! All of this in 5 1/2 months! All I can say is thank you Brent! I feel great and you are awesome! Without your constant encouragement and passion for what you do, I would not have lasted a month!
I've learned a lot about health and fitness over the years and didn't feel challenged by trainers any longer. Then I met Brent. This guy's on fire! Just talking to him motivates me. Not just about fitness, but life in general. Brent gave me a new found hope for everything that I imagined I could be. Within 4 weeks, I was ahead of my goal to lose 5% bodyfat by my 42nd birthday. I did it in 30 days! Not only did I lose body fat, I gained over 2 inches in muscle. I've learned more in 30 days of training with him than I have in 20 years. When I reached out to Brent, about a year ago, I had hit a major wall with my fitness goals, a plateau. I became a group fitness instructor 8 years ago and before that, I weighed 235 lbs, and for the last few years I've stayed around 195 to 205 lbs and not much muscle tone. While my cardio was helping me maintain my weight, my body had just stopped changing. I've always known that resistance training was important but always just too scared to go into the weight room. After seeing some of Brent's other successful clients, I knew I needed to start working with him. It's been one of the best decisions I've made. Since working out with Brent I'm at 185 lbs and much more muscle tone and definition. I let insecurities keep me out of the gym for a long time. As I reached my 30th birthday, I decided I wanted to take my goals seriously and finally achieve the body that I've always wanted. I was intimidated by the gym. There. I said it. Everyone looked like they already knew what they were doing. I didn’t and it was intimidating. Brent makes it comfortable. He is also really focused on proper form so you learn to workout safely. I feel confident in the gym and we have fun!
The main thing for me has been accountability. It is so tempting to hit snooze and just roll over in the bed. Knowing that Brent’s going to be there is sometimes the extra motivation I need to just put one foot in front of the other to get to the gym.
Hiring a trainer is an investment in myself. I feel stronger and I feel better about myself. Working with a trainer has given me more confidence and that helps in many aspects of my life.
